Oraldene Antibacterial Mouthwash 200ml

Oraldene is a mouthwash that contains hexetidine, a powerful antibacterial and antifungal agent. It helps treat and prevent infections in your mouth and throat, such as mouth ulcers, thrush, gingivitis, halitosis, and sore throat. It can also be used before and after dental surgery to reduce the risk of complications.

Oraldene is a clear red solution that has the following benefits:

Suitable for Adults and children over 6 years old.

Age restriction:

You must be 16 years old to purchase this product.

How to use

Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Do not dilute or swallow. Shake well before use.

Adults and children over 6 years old: Rinse or gargle with 15ml (1 tablespoon) of undiluted Oraldene for 30 seconds, two to three times a day or as directed.

Children under 6 years old: Oraldene is not recommended for this age group.

If you swallow this product by accident: Seek medical help immediately and take this pack with you.

If you miss a dose:

Use the next dose as soon as you remember unless it is time for the next one. Do not use double the amount.

Hazards and Cautions

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Do not use this product if you are allergic to Oraldene or any of its ingredients. If you have a bad reaction, stop using it and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

If your symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

This product may cause some side effects, such as allergic reactions, irritation, numbness, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, salivary gland enlargement, taste disturbance or loss, pain, swelling, redness, heat, blistering, ulceration, tongue or tooth discolouration. If you experience any of these, stop using it and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Do not use if the bottle seal is broken when purchased. Do not store above 30°C. Use within 6 months of opening. Keep the bottle in the outer carton to protect from light. Do not use after the expiry date on the label. Dispose of any unused medicine responsibly. Ask your pharmacist how to do this.
